Project Overview
The GDOT I-285 East Express Lanes Project will be delivered in multiple phases:
- Phase 1 proposal development is currently underway. The developer—East Perimeter Partners—is shortlisted to submit a proposal to GDOT for delivering this project. The current request for proposal due date for all proposers is April 23, 2026.
- Starting in Fall 2025, East Perimeter Contractors will hold virtual subcontractor and supplier outreach events to explain the project’s opportunities and how interested companies can obtain more details and submit their bid.
View Events - A Comprehensive Development Agreement [CDA] will give the successful Phase 1 team rights to negotiate the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance for the remaining Sub-Phases of the East Express Lanes project
- Starting in Fall 2025, East Perimeter Contractors will hold virtual subcontractor and supplier outreach events to explain the project’s opportunities and how interested companies can obtain more details and submit their bid.
- Phase 2 is required to include Sub-Phase A and optionally Sub-Phase B.
- The remaining phases will comprise Sub-Phase C through Sub-Phase F.
